Meka, the leading company in Turkey in production and exports, is preparing to open its third factory at the Temelli Başkent Organized Industrial Zone.
The ground breaking ceremony of the factory, which has been started to be constructed on a total area of 25,000 sqm, 15,000 sqm of which is indoor area, has been held as attended by Mr. Mehmet Kaybal, Chairman of our Board of Directors, and the Meka employees.
The factory, which will be equipped with painting booths, sand blasting unit and the latest technology CNC counters, is expected to be taken into operation in September 2014.
The statement of Kerem Kaybal, Meka Plants Marketing Coordinator, regarding the ground-breaking of the third factory has been as: “The Meka Plants, founded in Ankara in 1987, has been serving the Turkish industry for more than 27 years, through a team of 350 employees at our Ostim, Eskişehir and Ankara Temelli factories. As one of the limited number of companies in Europe and the number one in Turkey in its field of operation, Meka realizes exports to more than 60 countries over 4 continents. We are continuing our investments in parallel with the success we have achieved since our foundation. Meka lants will continue with its investments in line with its objectives, in order contribute in the country’s economy and move ahead by firm steps in order to evolve into a world brand in the area it operates”.
The construction of the one of the most prestigious marina projects in Les Almadies, Dakar, has started with MEKA concrete batching plant. The Spanish company chose MEKA for this major project, which involves the construction of a marina and a luxury hotel by the sea in Almadies.
