The material can be fed by separate conveyor belt from the primary crusher or through a separate feed hopper either to the crusher or screen. How Does Portable Cone Crushers Work?

The material on the top deck of the screen is fed to the cone crusher.In some applications, the material can be fed directly to the cone crusher with a belt conveyor.The material entering the crushing chamber is crushed by compressing it between the liner called mantle on the moving head and the concave on the upper body.Eccentric shaft movement to the head ensures that the material is crushed between the two liners in the crushing chamber by eccentric gyrating movement of the head.
