Secondary Impact Crusher

With a comprehensive range of types, MEKA offers the right machine for every performance requirement. MEKA MSI and MSIH Series impactors are widely accepted as the crusher of choice as secondary reduction units. Although these crushers are normally offered within a plant where tertiary crushing is also present, due to their ability to produce highly cubical, well graded product size of 0-80mm in a single pass, the need for tertiary crushing can be eliminated.

MEKA MSI Series Secondary Impact Crusher is ideally suited to crush soft to medium hard materials of medium to low silica content such as limestone, gypsum.  MEKA MSIH Series Secondary Impact Crusher is the economical alternative to cone crushers for hard stone. They are suitable for several raw mineral materials with varying degrees of hardness, from soft to brittle materials to hard rocks and iron free recycling material.

Applications

The strength of Secondary Impact Crusher makes them ideal for diverse applications and configurations.

They have proven their effectiveness in a host of missions from crushing low abrasive materials to industrial applications and are suitable for quarrying and gravel pit industries, cement industry, concrete and asphalt recycling, and slag recycling.

Why MEKA Secondary Impact Crusher?

High Reduction Ratio

MSI-MSIH series impact crushers achieve a higher reduction with fewer crushing stages, lowering your capital costs and saving energy.

Highly Cubical Production

Good cubical shape to meet asphalt and concrete product specifications for flakiness and elongation.

High Throughput

We have optimised crusher layout to maximise loading, with a bigger crushing chamber, optimised liners and specific rotors to boost productivity in every type of application.

Maintenance Benefits

The modularised construction method of the crusher, ensures that all of the hardened cast liners within the crusher are of a single uniform size.

What is Secondary Impact Crusher?

A secondary impact crusher is used in the secondary crushing stage of various materials and is a horizontal shaft impact crusher utilizing impact force to crush the material.

Types of Secondary Impact Crusher

Different designs for soft and non abrasive feed material or for medium hard and slightly abrasive material are available. For hard and abrasive material, crushers have special heavy-duty design of the body, rotor and the breaker bars and blowbars are with higher chromium content castings. These crushers are also equipped with a third breaker plate producing higher amount of fines.

How Does Secondary Impact Crusher Work?

The materials are crushed by the impact force generated by the blowbars fixed on the rotating rotor. With the impact of the material on the blowbars on the rotor, the material hits the opposite breaker plates and a secondary crushing takes place.

Advantages of Using Secondary Impact Crusher

Secondary impact crushers are designed for the secondary stage for high throughput and cubical end products. High reduction ratio and high production make impact crushers ideal crusher for large capacity projects .Energy cost per ton of product produced is low.

Secondary Impact Crusher Processes Applications

Secondary Impact crusher is used in the secondary stages of the crushing process for different kinds of materials. They produce cubical and high percentage of end products, and the fines production rates in the end product are also very high.
