MEKA Fine Material Washers are mainly used to separate clay and silt from material up to 10 mm in size, typically collected from the underflow of washing screens, and to dewater the final product.
With easy maintenance, cost-effective design, single and twin screw options, and a wide range of capacities, MEKA Screw Washers deliver maximum cleaning performance for sand and fine aggregates.
Looking for a cost-effective solution for washing sand and fine materials?
Discover MEKA Fine Material Washers.
MEKA Fine Material Washers mainly consist of a washing/transport screw and a separation tank. In the separation tank, clay within the material is removed using hydraulic separation, while the screw conveyor dewaters the material for final discharge.
Lightweight and unwanted particles rise to the surface and are discharged through overflow weirs. These systems wash fine aggregates up to 10 mm in size and transfer the cleaned material to the next stage, separating it from water.
Dirty water is directed by adjustable weirs at the rear of the tank and drained via a discharge pipe.
Compared to competitors, MEKA Fine Material Washers offer a robust and heavy-duty body structure, effective fine material classification, low maintenance costs, and extended service life.
