TGG Construction, one of the region’s leading contracting and construction firms, selected the MEKA K160 Stationary Concrete Batching Plant to meet the high-volume, quality concrete requirements of its project portfolio. Site installation and testing were completed successfully and the plant now operates at full capacity, delivering up to 140 m³ of fresh concrete per hour under Libya’s demanding climate conditions.
High ambient temperatures, dust and sand shorten equipment life faster in North Africa than almost anywhere else. That is why the critical components of our plants are hot-dip galvanised: aggregate bins, weighing hoppers, platforms, stairs and handrails. For hot-weather concreting we supply ice weighing hoppers, chiller units and multiple independent water lines, so fresh concrete temperature stays within specification even at the peak of summer.
Our compact and mobile plants are designed for zero-level installation with no extra concrete footings, which cuts both setup time and civil works cost on remote sites. Mobile plants can be dismantled and relocated, which suits projects that move between cities.
Four main families cover the full range of project sizes: mobile plants at 60–145 m³/h for projects that change location, compact plants at 30–135 m³/h where installation space is tight, stationary plants at 60–200 m³/h for ready-mix producers and long-running sites, and dry batch plants that load directly into the truck mixer for high throughput. Alongside these we supply precast concrete plants and RCC plants for road and dam projects.
For producing aggregate from local limestone and hard rock we supply jaw, cone and impact crushers (primary, secondary and tertiary), vertical shaft impact crushers, feeders, screens and washing equipment. These are available as fixed or portable plants depending on the quarry and the project.
In reconstruction work, demolition waste turns from a liability into a resource. With Holcim and the Casablanca Prefecture in Morocco, MEKA commissioned a 150 t/h mobile crushing and screening plant that recycles demolition concrete into usable aggregate, targeting more than one million tonnes per year once fully rolled out. The same logic applies directly to Libyan cities undergoing large-scale clearance and rebuilding.
We manufacture our own mixers — twin-shaft, single-shaft and planetary — as well as cement silos, fibre feeding systems, automation systems and concrete reclaiming systems, backed by a spare parts and after-sales network.
Our plants are built in five production facilities in Ankara and Eskişehir across more than 110,000 m³ of production area. The short distance between Türkiye and Libya shortens shipping time compared with Far East suppliers, and makes it easier to move installation teams and spare parts. Compact and mobile plants ship in standard containers, and our technical team supervises installation, commissioning and operator training on site.
Capacity follows daily pour volume, the number of truck mixers available and haul distance. Residential and medium road projects are usually served by a 60–100 m³/h plant, while major infrastructure work and ready-mix producers typically need 120–200 m³/h. We size this with you before recommending a model.
It depends on the model and site readiness. Mobile and compact plants install in days because they need no additional concrete footings; high-capacity stationary plants take longer because of foundation work.
Yes. We supply hot-weather concreting solutions: ice weighing hoppers, chiller units and multiple water lines, together with hot-dip galvanising on components exposed to water and dust.
We hold stock of core spare parts and provide direct technical support. Our Ni-Hard 4 liners and paddles are specified for high wear resistance and long service life, which reduces replacement frequency.
Mobile and portable plants are designed to be dismantled, moved and reinstalled. Stationary plants can be relocated but require planning and new foundation work.
