MEKA Crowns Its Success in Russia with Awards

Meka, a worldwide brand, has attracted the attention of the Russian media and construction world with its dominance in the Russian market, and at the "2014 Russian Construction Olympus Ceremony" held in September 2014, Meka Import and Export Marketing and Trade Company earned the "Leader of the Construction Sector" award.

With its stable structure maintained for many years, its success — of a quality that attracts the attention of the whole world — in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of concrete batching plants of high quality and technical specifications, in training personnel on these topics and in after-sales services, and its activities in introducing advanced technologies to the whole world, Meka had also earned this award in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2013.

The "Russian Construction Olympus," the oldest award in the field of Russia's construction sector, has been held since 1996, and the candidates to receive the award — initiated at the initiative of Russia's construction organizations — are determined by the joint decision of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation, the International Association of Contractors and the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction.

The awarding criteria of the ceremony — generally accepted for its validity and reliability — are: having taken part in projects of nationwide and national importance, and pioneering the spread and application of new technologies in the Russian market.

While the award is in itself a symbol of quality of the Russian construction sector, the company that receives it symbolizes a high standard, business ethics and an active role in the market. At the "Russian Construction Olympus Ceremony" held during the International Investment and Construction Forum on the Crimean Peninsula in 2014, the "Leader of the Construction Sector" award on behalf of Meka Concrete Batching Plants was received — with the high performance and success it demonstrated — by Leonid Ustuzhanin, Meka Russia Moscow Dealer Manager.
