MEKA continues to bring young talents into the sector with the support it provides to vocational training
MEKA Global, which exports to over 110 countries in the ready-mix concrete, crushing, screening, and recycling equipment sector and stands out as a leader in the industry, continues to set an example with its investments in qualified human resources. Mustafa Enes Aydoğan, a student at the Başkent Industrial Zone Vocational Training Center who is receiving apprenticeship training at MEKA, achieved a significant success by winning second place at the Ankara Welding Competition.
The competition, hosted by Ankara Ulus Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, was attended by students from various vocational high schools and vocational training centers. In the competition, which evaluated both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, Aydoğan, who received training by participating in production processes at MEKA, was selected as the runner-up for his technical proficiency.
“This success is an investment in Turkey's future.”
Bayram Yalçın, Human Resources Manager of MEKA, commented on the subject, saying:
“This success is a result of the opportunities MEKA offers to young people and the skills it imparts in the field. We see vocational education not only as individual development, but also as a strategic area that increases the country's production power. We believe that young people need to be educated not only in technical skills but also in values such as discipline, workplace safety culture, and teamwork. Internship at MEKA is not just about being in a production facility; it is about being part of a system where engineering, planning, quality control, and taking responsibility are intertwined.”
Investing in young talent is investing in the future
Founded in 1987, MEKA operates today with five factories in Ankara and Eskişehir. With over 4,500 facilities in more than 110 countries, MEKA is a global brand in the ready-mix concrete, mining, and recycling sectors. It stands out not only for its advanced engineering solutions but also for its vision of cultivating the production power of the future.
MEKA aims to strengthen its collaborations with vocational high schools and vocational training centers in the coming period to encourage young people to pursue technical education, reinforce the link between vocational training and the labor market, and provide solutions to the industry's need for qualified personnel.
