MEKA Achieves International Standards in Carbon Management with ISO 14064-1 Certification

Certified by TÜV Austria for Its Verified Carbon Footprint.


MEKA has strengthened its commitment to environmental responsibility by voluntarily measuring, verifying, and certifying its carbon footprint for the years 2023 and 2024.
Following a verification process conducted by TÜV Austria, an independent and accredited organization, MEKA was awarded the ISO 14064-1: Greenhouse Gases Verification Statement certificate.

This initiative, carried out voluntarily and without any legal obligation, highlights MEKA’s proactive and pioneering approach to environmental responsibility.
Within this scope, the company calculated, monitored, and reported its greenhouse gas emissions across six main categories — including energy consumption, production activities, logistics operations, service processes, waste management, and indirect emission sources — all in accordance with international standards.

The data obtained will serve as the foundation for setting MEKA’s future carbon reduction targets and for continuously improving its environmental performance. This verification process not only demonstrates MEKA’s transparency in disclosing its environmental impacts but also shows that the company has strengthened its sustainable production approach with measurable results.
