MEKA Commissioned a Stationary Concrete Batching Plant in Egypt

MEKA successfully completed the installation of a striking stationary concrete batching plant, the K 140 model, for a leading customer operating in the ready-mixed concrete production sector near Cairo, Egypt. This advanced plant, designed to meet daily concrete production needs and with a capacity of 140 m³/hour, offers high-efficiency and high-performance standards.

In this important project in Egypt, the K 140 Stationary Concrete Batching Plant, commissioned through the meticulous work of MEKA engineers, has a 3.33 m³ capacity Twin-shaft mixer and a 4×25 m³ capacity in-line-type aggregate bin.

In K 140 concrete batching plants, the aggregate discharge chutes located beneath the aggregate bin, the aggregate batching bin and the aggregate weighing conveyor are produced completely hot-dip galvanized so as to be long-lasting.

In addition, in K 140 concrete batching plants, the main-chassis load-bearing construction, all the water-cement-admixture weighing groups on the mixer, the aggregate storage bin, and all the main-chassis walkways, railings and stairs are produced completely hot-dip galvanized. This provides a great advantage to users, especially in extending the life of these units exposed to water and increasing their corrosion resistance.

Another prominent feature of the stationary concrete batching plant installed in Egypt is the fully automatic control system. Equipped with a Siemens PLC and the MEKASoft software developed by MEKA engineers, this system stands out with its user-friendly interface and ease of use. Thanks to this, the ready-mixed concrete production process can be managed more efficiently, quickly and smoothly.

The high-capacity, high-performance K 140 Stationary Concrete Batching Plant is frequently preferred especially by ready-mixed concrete companies.
