TOFI D.O.O., operating in the field of ready-mix concrete and aggregate production in Montenegro, has selected the MEKA K120 Concrete Batching Plant as part of its new concrete production investment. Implemented in line with criteria such as high capacity, reliable performance, and long service life, the project aims to significantly enhance the company’s existing production capabilities.
The installed K120 concrete batching plant is equipped with a 2.25 m³ twin-shaft mixer and four aggregate bins with a capacity of 25 m³ each, while four 100-ton cement silos enable high-volume concrete production. In addition, plant and aggregate bunker cladding systems have been incorporated into the project. These systems protect the facility against harsh weather conditions while minimizing environmental impact, ensuring a more controlled, efficient, and sustainable production process.
This investment is not TOFI D.O.O.’s first collaboration with MEKA. In 2019, the company purchased a 250–300 tph crushing and screening plant from MEKA and, based on the high level of satisfaction achieved with that investment, once again chose MEKA for its new concrete batching plant project. Long-term performance, after-sales support, and operational efficiency were key factors influencing this decision.
With this new investment, TOFI D.O.O. aims to further increase its production capacity and operational efficiency in concrete and aggregate manufacturing. The MEKA K120 Concrete Batching Plant, delivered with MEKA’s high-performance and reliable solutions, is expected to make a strong contribution to the customer’s existing production infrastructure and to support its long-term sustainable production objectives.
