Tilcon is a major aggregate supplier to the concrete and asphalt industry. It also uses its products at its own concrete and asphalt plants located in various regions. A washing plant at their site in North Branford had been operating for many years but could no longer meet current needs. To ensure a sustainable water supply, the new plant needed to be equipped with a complete water recycling system. The capacity of the new plant required high-stock-capacity feed hoppers.
Thanks to our representative in New England, two custom-designed feed hoppers with a 100-tonne capacity were chosen by Tilcon Connecticut to feed the special washing plant.
