The Tema Motorway forms an integral part of the Trans-Africa Highway, stretching from Lagos through Lomé, Accra, and Abidjan to Dakar, and effectively serves as the junction to the Sub-region. Grade Separation of Tema intersection in Tema, is being undertaken by Shimizu-Dai Nippon JV. This project provides a solution for traffic congestion in the morning and peak hours.
The intersection is expected to be completed in June 2020
