Our valued customer, one of Turkey's leading ceramic producers, decided to transition to sustainable production methods in response to the global raw-material crisis. In this context, drawing attention to the importance of recycling in the sector, it took a step focusing on waste management and the reuse of resources. To this end, the company collaborated with MEKA and set up a special plant for recycling ceramic and vitreous-china products.
The recycling plant aims to reprocess the scrap, defective, broken and rejected products that arise during the production process and bring them back into production. In this way, it aims both to contribute to environmental sustainability and to ease the cost pressure created by the raw-material crisis.
The plant uses the models MPI1111 (Primary Impact Crusher), MVI70 (Vertical-Shaft Impact Crusher), MS2050 (Vibrating Screen) and MF935 (Vibrating Feeder). This equipment plays critical roles in the processes of processing, separating and making the waste materials reusable. Thanks to MEKA's advanced-technology products, the recycling plant operates with high efficiency and effectiveness, leading the way in the adoption of an environmentally friendly production approach in the ceramic sector.
This initiative is regarded as an important step toward increasing sustainability and environmental awareness in the ceramic sector in Turkey and around the world. While the company's effort is a source of inspiration for other producers, it also contributes to the spread of innovative approaches and environmentally sensitive production methods in the sector.
