20-Year-Old MEKA Batching Plant Continues Production with MEKASOFT Upgrade

Commissioned in Estonia in 2005, the MEKA concrete batching plant has been modernized in 2025 through a software upgrade to the MEKASOFT automation infrastructure. This transition, implemented by MEKA’s automation team, has aligned the plant’s control and data monitoring systems with today’s technological standards.
The upgrade was carried out while the plant was in active operation, allowing uninterrupted production and enabling continued use with flexible, user-friendly control features. The new interface and tracking capabilities introduced by MEKASOFT allow operators to manage production processes more efficiently.
MEKA continues to support the plants it installs not only at the initial commissioning stage but even decades later. This project in Estonia stands as a concrete example of MEKA’s long-term service philosophy and its commitment to sustainability in automation systems.
