At the center of Ashgabat, the capitol of Turkmenistan, the Presidential Palace Project, construction of which has started last year, is in progress. In the project being implemented by the French construction giant “Vinci Construction”, a mobile of 120m³ capacity, supplied by Meka, is being used. In Turkmenistan, which will make an investment of 70 billion dollars within the scope of the Development Program during the 2012- 2016 period, projects continue without a pause. Within the scope of this Development Program, it is planned to renovate more than 450 production facilities, as well as increasing the available oil production and implementing investment projects in the chemistry, construction, healthcare and light industry sectors.
There currently are numerous on-going construction projects in the country. One of the most outstanding projects among these is the new Presidential Palace construction. At the Presidential Palace, which is one of the projects being implemented in Turkmenistan by the French construction giant “Vinci Construction” listed in the top ranks of the ENR Global Construction list, the works are reaching the final stage. The building, being constructed on an area of 54 thousand 250 square meters in total, is located between the Bitarap Turkmenistan Boulevard, one of the main streets of Ashgabat, and the Ç. Nurimov street. The construction is planned to be completed in December 2013. In the project, demanding 80,000 m³ ready in total, a Meka MB-120BM capacity is being used.
Considering the significance of the project and the short contract term, the batch plant is offering hassle-free and qualified production, operating on a 3-shift 24-hour basis. One of the reasons underlying the preference of a Meka mobile batch plant by the Vinci Construction Company is that the plant has been designed and built to operate seamlessly under the most challenging conditions, and the ability to transfer the plant to another project easily, following the completion of this project of 1.5 years. The features of the product, such as quick deployment and transportation by two tow-trucks, offer major conveniences to construction companies in short-term projects.
