Recently there have been targeted efforts against MEKA customers to convince them to transfer funds to different bank accounts. Such efforts include sending emails that MEKA bank accounts have changed and any transfers should be made to new accounts.
To avoid being victim in any fraudulent activity we would like to remind you following notes:
MEKA does not have any bank accounts outside of Turkey
MEKA bank accounts are always owned by MEKA. Do not make transfers to any other name.
IBAN Numbers mentioned in our original quotation should always be used while making money transfers.
Before payment please inform your customer representative over the company phone or whatsapp.
Even if the email address seems to be correct please follow the above precautions as previous attacks involved emails from domains such as mekagl0bal, mekagloball, mekasglobal and other confusing email addresses.
Bank accounts for clearing contracts are clearly shown in our offers and responsibility for payments that are made to any other account lies completely with the money sender. As MEKA we do not take any responsibility for the amounts that are not shown in our company accounts. Currently we are conducting our internal investigation to find if any information from MEKA servers have been used to conduct these attacks. In the meantime, we kindly ask you to revise your IT security settings.
