Mobile Crushing & Screening Plants

Wheel-mounted plants for projects across Africa
MEKA portable plants travel on road-legal trailers, set up without concrete foundations and run on grid or generator power. Combine jaw, impact, cone and VSI crushers with screens and wash plants in one train, sized to your rock and your tonnage. Manufactured by MEKA since 1987 and at work in more than 110 countries.

Frequently Asked Questions

Wheeled or tracked: which mobile crusher do I need?

Tracked units drive themselves around a quarry face on an onboard diesel engine. Wheel-mounted plants are towed between sites by a standard truck and run on electric power. If your plant stays in one place for weeks or months at a time, a wheel-mounted plant typically gives the lower total cost of ownership. MEKA’s portable range is entirely wheel-mounted.

Which crusher suits my material: jaw, cone or impact?

For hard, abrasive rock such as granite, basalt and quartzite, use a jaw crusher in the primary stage and cone crushers in the secondary and tertiary stages. For soft to medium-hard rock such as limestone, dolomite and recycled concrete, impact crushers give higher reduction ratios more economically. For manufactured sand or better product shape, add a VSI crusher as the final stage.

What if there is no grid power on my site?

MEKA portable plants are electrically driven. Where a grid connection is not possible or practical, a diesel generator set supplies the plant.

Can one plant produce several aggregate sizes at once?

Yes. Units with onboard screens, such as the portable cone crushers and the portable impact crushing plant, classify crushed material into two, three or four size fractions at the same time. Each further unit in the train adds classification capability.

What do you need from me to prepare a quotation?

Your feed material and its hardness, the capacity you need in tonnes per hour, the final product sizes, how often the plant will move, and the power available on site. Write these in the message box of the form and we will propose a configuration.

What support do I get after delivery?

MEKA’s scope covers project planning, engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, operator training and after-sales service, with spare parts kept in stock.
